La proposta did\u00e0ctica gira al voltant de conceptes matem\u00e0tics que propicien i estimulen pensament matem\u00e0tic. Tamb\u00e9 al calendari podem trobar diversos dies d&#8217;Aproximaci\u00f3 al\u00a0Pi. Aquests se celebren el 22 de juliol, ja que la fracci\u00f3 resultant de 22\/7 d\u00f3na com a resultat 3,142857, un nombre molt proper al valor de\u00a0Pi; el 26 d&#8217;abril (o 25 d&#8217;abril, en anys de trasp\u00e0s), dia en qu\u00e8 la Terra completa dues unitats astron\u00f2miques de la seva \u00f2rbita anual (la longitud total de l&#8217;\u00f2rbita dividida entre la longitud recorreguda \u00e9s igual a\u00a0Pi); el 21 de desembre (20 de desembre, en anys de trasp\u00e0s), dia 355 de l&#8217;any, a les 01:13\u00a0PM, la fracci\u00f3 del qual coincideix amb el valor aproximat de 3,141592; i el 10 de novembre (o 9 de novembre, en any de trasp\u00e0s), dia n\u00famero 314 de l&#8217;any.<\/li>\n<li>En 1706, el matem\u00e0tic angl\u00e8s William Jones va ser el primer a utilitzar el s\u00edmbol grec Pi (\u03c0) per denotar la relaci\u00f3 entre la circumfer\u00e8ncia i el seu di\u00e0metre.<\/li>\n<li>Albert Einstein va n\u00e9ixer el 14 de mar\u00e7.<\/li>\n<li>El matem\u00e0tic angl\u00e8s William\u00a0Shanks\u00a0va dedicar 20 anys a calcular 707 decimals de\u00a0Pi. En 1945 es va descobrir que havia com\u00e8s un error en el decimal 528 i a partir d&#8217;aquest nombre, tots els altres eren, \u00e9s clar, incorrectes.<\/li>\n<li>En el 2002 el japon\u00e8s\u00a0Akira\u00a0Haraguchi\u00a0va trencar el r\u00e8cord mundial recitant els 83.431 d\u00edgits del nombre\u00a0Pi. El 3 d&#8217;octubre del 2006, a la 1:30 AM i despr\u00e9s de 16 hores i mitjana,\u00a0Haraguchi\u00a0va tornar a trencar el seu propi\u00a0r\u00e8cord\u00a0recitant 100.000 d\u00edgits del nombre\u00a0Pi, realitzant una parada cada dues hores de deu minuts per descansar.<\/li>\n<li>L&#8217;\u00faltim\u00a0r\u00e8cord\u00a0sobre el c\u00e0lcul de\u00a0Pi\u00a0ho van aconseguir els inform\u00e0tics Alexander\u00a0Yee\u00a0i\u00a0Shigeru\u00a0Kondo, els qui han aconseguit calcular 12,1 bilions de decimals, sent l&#8217;\u00faltim decimal calculat un 5. Si escriv\u00edssim seguits els 12,1 bilions de decimals amb font Times\u00a0New\u00a0Roman de grand\u00e0ria 12, el paper necessari per apuntar-los tots donaria unes 60 voltes al nostre planeta Terra.<\/li>\n<li>Si ens posem estrictes&#8230; en realitat\u00a0Pi\u00a0\u00e9s incalculable i dir que es correspon a 3,14 \u00e9s fer la vista molt grossa. En realitat\u00a0Pi\u00a0\u00e9s la relaci\u00f3 en la longitud d&#8217;una circumfer\u00e8ncia i el seu di\u00e0metre, la qual cosa significa que\u00a0Pi\u00a0\u00e9s irracional i etern.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, per finalitzar i tancar la setmana fem un repte com\u00fa on hi participa tot l&#8217;alumnat.
