Aquest esport fou inventat per un mestre d&#8217;Educaci\u00f3 F\u00edsica a les aules d&#8217;Educaci\u00f3 Prim\u00e0ria, va n\u00e9ixer amb l&#8217;objectiu de ser un joc col\u00b7lectiu d&#8217;equip. La base d&#8217;aquest esport, \u00e9s el foment de la participaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;alumnat, independentment del nivell fisicomotor i les seves condicions, potenciant al m\u00e0xim la cooperaci\u00f3,
