Va cr\u00e9ixer en un entorn urb\u00e0, per\u00f2 des de fa m\u00e9s de vint anys viu i treballa a Figueres. De petita a casa seva hi havia dos programes a la televisi\u00f3 que no es perdien, <em>Al filo de lo impossible<\/em> i la s\u00e8rie <em>A cor obert<\/em>. Explica que, d\u2019alguna manera, aquests programes van despertar-li la seva vocaci\u00f3: volia ser metgessa i viure aventures a la muntanya. La Laura va estudiar Medicina i amb els anys es va especialitzar en gerontologia i urg\u00e8ncies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Avui ha vingut a l&#8217;escola, dins dels actes programats pel <strong>Dia de la Dona<\/strong>, per tal d&#8217;explicar-nos la seva experi\u00e8ncia i donar el seu testimoni com a dona treballadora, inquieta i capa\u00e7 de fer una feina a l&#8217;al\u00e7ada de qualsevol persona que vulgui ajudar.
