A continuaci\u00f3 exposem una activitat realitzada a l&#8217;aula basada en la modelitzaci\u00f3 mitjan\u00e7ant l&#8217;\u00fas de les il\u00b7lustracions cient\u00edfiques i representacions de models tridimensionals per contribuir a l&#8217;aprenentatge del model c\u00e8l\u00b7lula. Segons Gilbert (2004), els models s\u00f3n fonamentals per a la producci\u00f3 de coneixement cient\u00edfic ja que representen un pont entre el que serien les teories cient\u00edfiques i la realitat. Per tant, podem trobar models f\u00edsics que representen un objecte de major grand\u00e0ria, com un virus o una c\u00e8l\u00b7lula, i models f\u00edsics que representen objectes m\u00e9s petits com el model d&#8217;una aeronau, encara que tamb\u00e9 poden representar processos o fen\u00f2mens. I promoure l&#8217;\u00fas d&#8217;il\u00b7lustracions vol dir que els conceptes que poden ser abstractes s\u00f3n m\u00e9s f\u00e0cils d&#8217;entendre.<\/p>\n<p>Segons M\u00e1rquez (2002), l&#8217;\u00fas d&#8217;imatges (dibuixos i il\u00b7lustracions) facilita la comunicaci\u00f3 d&#8217;idees per part dels estudiants. Afirma que en ocasions \u00e9s possible observar que els estudiants poden representar un concepte m\u00e9s detallat a trav\u00e9s d&#8217;un dibuix o il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 que a nivell escrit, on els textos de vegades s\u00f3n breus i no tenen suficient informaci\u00f3. Tamb\u00e9 destaca el gran potencial d&#8217;\u00fas dels dibuixos a l&#8217;aula des del punt de vista que poden representar la realitat de manera simplificada, mostrant relacions entre les parts d&#8217;un tot o la seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de certs processos. Aquests processos poden ser m\u00e9s complexos d&#8217;explicar o representar nom\u00e9s amb llenguatge escrit o verbal, per\u00f2 la combinaci\u00f3 amb l&#8217;\u00fas d&#8217;il\u00b7lustracions millora l&#8217;aprenentatge, expressi\u00f3 i comunicaci\u00f3 d&#8217;idees cient\u00edfiques.<\/p>\n<p>Mitjan\u00e7ant el llenguatge visual incorporem a la nostra estructura cognitiva informaci\u00f3 que facilita les descripcions, explicacions, comparacions, la formulaci\u00f3 d&#8217;hip\u00f2tesis, fins a desenvolupar capacitats cognitives m\u00e9s complexes com elaborar, produir o predir, i en molts casos, \u00e9s de gran import\u00e0ncia per a la construcci\u00f3 de coneixement. Segons Levie i Lenz (1982), la mem\u00f2ria que tenim per a les imatges \u00e9s m\u00e9s poderosa que la mem\u00f2ria de les paraules, i facilita la memoritzaci\u00f3, especialment a llarg termini.<\/p>\n<p>En aquesta activitat, els alumnes varen realitzar un model f\u00edsic de la c\u00e8l\u00b7lula eucariota animal i un de la c\u00e8l\u00b7lula eucariota vegetal. Es va fomentar l&#8217;aprenentatge cooperatiu, ja que \u00e9s una metodologia d&#8217;aprenentatge que afavoreix la construcci\u00f3 de coneixements, l&#8217;adquisici\u00f3 de compet\u00e8ncies comunicatives i habilitats socials ja que l&#8217;alumne participa de forma activa en el proc\u00e9s, \u00e9s una metodologia que ens permet atendre tota la diversitat ja que cada alumne t\u00e9 una funci\u00f3 dins del grup, i entre tots arriben a l&#8217;objectiu.
