Ens va rebre l\u2019alcalde que fou el nostre cicer\u00f3 per les estances de l\u2019edifici.<br \/>Vam poder veure el magn\u00edfic sostre de fusta de Puig i Cadafalch de la Sala de plens i l\u2019interessant\u00edssim pl\u00e0nol de Matar\u00f3 del segle XIX on s\u2019intueixen les l\u00ednies urban\u00edstiques del que ara \u00e9s la tramat urb\u00e0 d\u2019aquesta gran ciutat.<br \/>Al vest\u00edbul, els gegants, nans i capgrossos, dracs i dragali\u00f3 van ajudar a la festa. Abans d\u2019entrar hav\u00edem caminat pel carrer Barcelona i ens van cridar l\u2019atenci\u00f3 les seves peculiars persianes; les peixateries velles, fins arribar al llen\u00e7 de muralla.
