Su principio de funcionamiento es utilizar la reflectividad de la luz infrarroja, dependiendo del color de la superficie que la refleja y luego convertir la intensidad de la luz reflejada, en una se\u00f1al digital\u00a0 que entregar\u00e1 al ordenador que est\u00e1 conectado. De lo contrario, emitira un nivel bajo (0)..\u00a0De esta manera, podemos juzgar el color detectado por el nivel Alto o Bajo que aparece en su pin marcado como &#8220;se\u00f1al&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>El potenciometro 103 permite ajustar la sensibilidad del sensor.
