\nAvui a l’escola hem celebrat St.\u00a0Patrick’s\u00a0Day!<\/p>\n
St.\u00a0Patrick’s\u00a0Day\u00a0\u00e9s la festa patronal d’Irlanda, en honor del seu sant patr\u00f3, Patrici d’Irlanda, que se celebra el 17 de mar\u00e7. \u00c9s una festa oficial des de comen\u00e7aments del segle xvii i diada festiva\u00a0d’en\u00e7\u00e0\u00a0el 1903.<\/p>\n
Com fan tots els irlandesos aquest dia, les i els mestres d’angl\u00e8s ens hem vestit de verd amb alguns complements t\u00edpics com tr\u00e8vols, barrets de copa de\u00a0leprechauns\u00a0i corbatins verds. Els i les alumnes, en canvi, han vingut vestits de color verd, blanc o taronja, com la bandera d’Irlanda!<\/p>\n
Els nens i nenes d’infantil han fet un\u00a0Photocall\u00a0col\u00b7laboratiu i\u00a0a la tarda\u00a0han estat al pati buscant les monedes d’or dels\u00a0Leprechauns, t\u00edpiques a les llegendes irlandeses.<\/p>\n
En canvi, durant el mat\u00ed, els infants de prim\u00e0ria han fet una gran gimcana al pati en la qual havien de superar un seguit de proves: El roba-foulards, el llan\u00e7ament d’anelles a\u00a0leprechauns, figures humanes i relleus amb monedes d’or!<\/p>\n
A la tarda, a cicle inicial hem fet una\u00a0manualitat, a Cicle mitj\u00e0 hem jugat al “Pasapalabra” i a Cicle superior hem fet un\u00a0Quizziz\u00a0amb preguntes sobre\u00a0St.\u00a0Patrick’s\u00a0Day\u00a0i la cultura irlandesa. Ens ho hem passat\u00a0superb\u00e9\u00a0fent totes aquestes activitats que ens han preparat els mestres d’angl\u00e8s de l’escola! Durant la tarda tamb\u00e9 hem baixat al pati central per fer-nos les fotos al\u00a0photocall\u00a0que podreu veure a continuaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n

St. Patrick’s Day is the patron saint’s day in Ireland, in honour of its patron saint, Patrick of Ireland, celebrated on 17 March. It has been an official holiday since the beginning of the 17th century and a festive day since 1903.<\/p>\n
As all Irish people do on that day, we English teachers have dressed in green with some typical complements like clovers, leprechaun cup hats and green curvains. Students, on the other hand, have come in green, white or orange, like the flag of Ireland!<\/p>\n
Children have made a collaborative Photocall and in the afternoon they have been in the yard looking for the Leprechaun gold coins, typical in Irish legends.<\/p>\n
In the morning, however, primary children have done a large gym in the yard where they have to pass a series of tests: Floor-wear, the throwing of rings at leprechauns, human figures and reliefs with gold coins!<\/p>\n
In the afternoon, in the initial cycle, we have done a handbook, in Middle Cycle we have played the “Pasapalabra” and in Upper Cycle we have done a Quizziz with questions about St. Patrick’s Day and Irish culture. We’ve had a good time doing all these activities that our school English teachers have prepared for us! During the afternoon, we also went down to the central courtyard to take the photos in the photocall you can see below.<\/p>\n
