Per celebrar ho, des de l\u2019any 2008 la Instituci\u00f3 de les Lletres Catalanes i la Federaci\u00f3 Catalana d\u2019Associacions i Clubs Unesco promocionen aquesta celebraci\u00f3 tant en el nostre domini ling\u00fc\u00edstic com a la resta d\u2019Europa i del m\u00f3n amb l\u2019elecci\u00f3 d\u2019un poeta i un seu poema per a l\u2019ocasi\u00f3. La ILC ha escollit el poema \u201cm&#8217;he estimat molt la vida\u201d de Vicent Andr\u00e9s Estell\u00e9s, de qui enguany commemorem el centenari del naixement. Partint d\u2019aquesta composici\u00f3, l&#8217;alumnat de 5\u00e8 i 6\u00e8 ha recitat el poema amb les seves lleng\u00fces maternes\/paternes.
