Benvinguts al projecte de Global Scholars!<\/span><\/p>\n

Enguany aprenem sobre l’aigua, un recurs molt preuat que ha esdevingut un tema d’actualitat arran de les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies del canvi clim\u00e0tic i els nombrosos problemes sorgits en els darrers anys: inundacions, sequeres, restriccions d’aigua, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durant la unitat 1, ens vam familiaritzar amb el projecte i la classe virtual, a trav\u00e9s de la qual ens podem comunicar amb companys i companyes arreu del m\u00f3n per debatre idees i col\u00b7laborar per crear un m\u00f3n millor i m\u00e9s sostenible. Tamb\u00e9 vam fer un <\/span>v\u00eddeo<\/span><\/a> de presentaci\u00f3 de la nostra classe, escola i comunitat. Ens ho vam passar d\u2019all\u00f2 m\u00e9s b\u00e9 fent una ruta per Esplugues i muntant un \u201ctelenot\u00edcies\u201d que teniu compartit al <\/span>blog<\/span><\/i> de l\u2019escola.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durant la unitat 2, hem pres consci\u00e8ncia de la quantitat d\u2019aigua que malbaratem a trav\u00e9s de l\u2019elaboraci\u00f3 del nostre \u201cWater footprint\u201d o \u201cPetjada d\u2019aigua\u201d. A partir de la reflexi\u00f3 conjunta, vam decidir analitzar els diferents punts d\u2019acc\u00e9s a l\u2019aigua que tenim a l\u2019escola i proposar accions que podem dur a terme per estalviar aigua: penjar instruccions de com fer servir l\u2019aigua de manera responsable als lavabos, revisar possibles fuites en les aixetes, fer servir l\u2019ampolla d\u2019aigua al menjador en comptes dels gots, etc. <\/span>Aqu\u00ed<\/span><\/a> compartim amb vosaltres el mapa interactiu que vam dissenyar per compartir amb l\u2019escola i la comunitat de Global Scholars.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La unitat 3 ha sigut molt interessant, ja que hem tingut l’oportunitat de visitar la depuradora de Gav\u00e0 i fer una entrevista als treballadors per tal d\u2019averiguar el cam\u00ed que fa l\u2019aigua des de la natura fins a la nostra aixeta i el proc\u00e9s de depuraci\u00f3 de l\u2019aigua contaminada. A partir d\u2019aquesta visita i de recerca amb mitjans digitals, hem elaborat una <\/span>not\u00edcia<\/span><\/a> en petits grups per compartir amb els nostres \u201cpeers\u201d les principals caracter\u00edstiques i problemes del nostre sistema d\u2019aigua, i alguns propostes per millorar-lo.\u00a0<\/span>Estem preparats per la unitat 4!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Welcome on board to the Global Scholars Project!<\/span><\/p>\n

This year we are learning about water, a precious resource which has become a topic of current affairs due to the consequences of climate change and the many issues emerging in recent years: floods, droughts, water restrictions, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

During unit 1, we became familiar with the project and the e-classroom, through which we can communicate with peers around the world in order to discuss ideas and collaborate to create a better and more sustainable world. We also made a presentation <\/span>video<\/span><\/a> about our classroom, school and community. We had so much fun walking around Esplugues and creating TV news, which has been shared in the school blog.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During unit 2, we became aware of the amount of water we waste through the elaboration of our \u201cWater footprint\u201d. After group reflection, we decided to analyze the different water access points in our school and propose actions we can carry out to save water: hang instructions on how to use water responsibly in the toilets, check possible leaks in faucets, use our water bottle at lunchtime instead of cups, etc. <\/span>Here<\/span><\/a> you are the interactive map we created to share with our school and the Global Scholars community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unit 3 has been very interesting, since we have had the chance to visit the water treatment plant of Gav\u00e0 and interview the workers in order to know the journey of water from nature to faucet and the process of purifying polluted water. From this visit and research with digital means, we have prepared a <\/span>news report<\/span><\/a> in small groups to share with our peers the main characteristics and problems of our water system, and some proposals to improve it.<\/span><\/p>\n
