They\u2019ve not only learned about the amazing process of how food is broken down and nutrients absorbed, but they\u2019ve also become budding programmers in the process!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Once the children had mastered the vocabulary and the grammar needed to describe the different organs of the digestive system and their functions, they were challenged to create their own interactive board game about this topic. The students worked in groups to design a game where players have to match each digestive organ with its correct function. The most thrilling part of the project, however, was integrating the micro:bit robots. The children were introduced to the world of coding by the school&#8217;s digital mentor and learned how to program them. They connected the organs and functions on their game boards with cables, and then programmed the micro:bit to detect when a correct match was made. When a player correctly connects an organ to its function, the micro:bit responds with a visual display on its screen and a celebratory sound!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>They are now able to explain the digestive process in detail, using appropriate vocabulary and grammar, and they have a basic understanding of programming concepts. No nom\u00e9s han apr\u00e8s sobre el sorprenent proc\u00e9s de com es digereixen els aliments i s\u2019absorbeixen els nutrients, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;han convertit en programadors i programadores en pot\u00e8ncia!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un cop l&#8217;alumnat dominava el vocabulari i la gram\u00e0tica necess\u00e0ries per descriure els diferents \u00f2rgans del sistema digestiu i les seves funcions, se\u2019ls va proposar crear el seu propi joc de taula interactiu sobre aquest tema. L&#8217;alumnat va treballar en grups per dissenyar un joc on s\u2019havia de connectar cada \u00f2rgan amb la seva funci\u00f3. La part m\u00e9s emocionant del projecte, per\u00f2, va ser la integraci\u00f3 dels robots micro:bit. L\u2019alumnat va rebre un tastet del que \u00e9s programar amb l\u2019ajuda del mentor digital de centre i van programar els robots del seu joc. Primer, van connectar els \u00f2rgans amb les seves funcions corresponents amb cables per darrere del taulell i despr\u00e9s van programar el micro:bit per detectar quan es feia una connexi\u00f3 correcta. Quan un\/a jugador\/a connecta correctament un \u00f2rgan amb la seva funci\u00f3, el micro:bit respon amb una icona a la pantalla i un so de celebraci\u00f3!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ara s\u00f3n capa\u00e7os d&#8217;explicar el proc\u00e9s digestiu amb detall, utilitzant el vocabulari i la gram\u00e0tica adequats, i comprenen, de manera b\u00e0sica, alguns conceptes de programaci\u00f3. Qui sap&#8230; potser tenim futurs programadors i programadores de jocs a les nostres aules!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
