Exploring English-Speaking Countries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our school recently implemented its 3rd year of its GEP project, aimed at helping Sidney, our language assistant, choose an English-speaking country to visit before returning to the US. Sidney has enjoyed her time at our school and wants to travel the world but doesn&#8217;t have time to learn a new language. She asked the Year 6 students for assistance in selecting the best English-speaking country to visit. The students took on this task by researching various English-speaking countries, focusing on their main characteristics, geographical features, and cultural highlights. They learned about what defines an English-speaking country and took into account Sidney&#8217;s preferences when visiting a new place. Each cooperative group then created a poster showcasing their chosen country and presented their findings to the class, aiming to convince Sidney. Sidney ha gaudit del seu temps a la nostra escola i vol viatjar pel m\u00f3n, per\u00f2 no t\u00e9 temps per aprendre un nou idioma. Va demanar als alumnes de sis\u00e8 d&#8217;educaci\u00f3 prim\u00e0ria que l&#8217;ajudessin a seleccionar el millor pa\u00eds de parla anglesa per visitar. Els alumnes van assumir aquesta tasca investigant diversos pa\u00efsos de parla anglesa, centrant-se en les seves caracter\u00edstiques principals, trets geogr\u00e0fics i aspectes culturals destacats. Van aprendre qu\u00e8 defineix un pa\u00eds de parla anglesa i van tenir en compte les prefer\u00e8ncies de la Sidney a l&#8217;hora de visitar un nou lloc. Cada grup cooperatiu va crear un p\u00f2ster mostrant el pa\u00eds triat i el van presentar a la resta de la classe amb l&#8217;objectiu de conv\u00e8ncer a la Sidney.
