At school, our students, from 3rd to 6th grade, have got the opportunity to learn Physical Education using English as a vehicular language. For some pupils that can’t show their English level in a English usual lesson, the PE subject can be a great experience to improve this second language in a different situation, out of class. So they can feel more confident than in an English class.
In a PE class (5-6th grade) the students have to try to talk in English, the teacher has got a speaking registration list where pupils will be awarded with a positive note if they get to talk in English between 75-100% during three lessons consecutive ly.
Furthermore, they can learn the main vocabulary about some sports and actions verbs that they usually need when they do physical activity in class.
