This week 3rd<\/sup> grade started to practice in greek traditional dances during the Music class. At first , they informed about regions of Greece and traditional costumes in every area . Then we searched the music instruments that participate in the most of the traditional songs and watched some videos of traditional dances. In these sessions they will be taught how to dance some greek songs : 1. \u03a3\u03c5\u03c1\u03c4\u03cc\u03c2 \u2013 sirtos \u00a0(has its origin in the region of Thessaly) , 2. \u03a0\u03bf\u03b4\u03b1\u03c1\u03ac\u03ba\u03b9 \u2013 Podaraki (its origin is in Thrace) , 3. \u03a7\u03b1\u03c3\u03b1\u03c0\u03bf\u03c3\u03ad\u03c1\u03b2\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf \u2013 Hasaposerviko (a typical dance of Greece with modern affections of other countries.<\/p>\n

In Greece we believe that dance connects people and creates friends and companies . That’s the reason we dance very easily in almost every occasion ! (fests, festivals, weddings …)<\/p>\n

*** We are practising to show these dances in the \u201cweek of ART\u201c ***<\/p>\n
