Tal com defensaven pedagogs com Piaget i Bruner, l\u2019infant compr\u00e8n millor quan passa del concret a l\u2019abstracte, i aquests materials permeten rec\u00f3rrer aquest cam\u00ed amb naturalitat.<br \/>\nEl resultat \u00e9s un aprenentatge m\u00e9s actiu i significatiu: els infants descobreixen per ells mateixos, rectifiquen, proven i tornen a provar. I, sobretot, entenen.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;L\u2019educaci\u00f3 ha de despertar la joia de comprendre&#8221;<\/em>.
