Hello second grade families!<\/span><\/p>\n

During this month we have been working in Science the first unit, related to the Solar System. We are learning a lot!<\/span><\/p>\n

-The planets of the Solar System.<\/span><\/p>\n

-The phases of the moon.<\/span><\/p>\n

– The rotation movement of the Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

– The revolution movement of the Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

-The seasons of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

-The day and the night.<\/span><\/p>\n

In class we use diverse and especially visual and manipulative material that helps us to understand better all these concepts: posters, flashcards, games on the Digital Board, bingos, memories… in addition, we do manipulative tasks, as for example, we made a model to understand the two movements of the Earth around the sun.<\/span><\/p>\n

The final product of this unit was some informative videos about the planets as we became TV presenters for one day. Students did great! We worked as a team and later we reflected about it.<\/p>\n

During CLIL classes, we take into account some important aspects to help students understand the learning: to use clear instructions, to establish routines during lessons, to always give examples and models before starting any task accompanied by verbal instructions and to check the correct understanding of the activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Soon we will start a new topic, we are really looking forward to it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Durant aquest mes hem estat treballant a Science la primera unitat, relacionada amb el Sistema Solar. Estem aprenent un munt de coses!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

-Els planetes del Sistema Solar.<\/span><\/p>\n

-Les fases de la lluna.<\/span><\/p>\n

-El moviment de rotaci\u00f3 de la Terra.<\/span><\/p>\n

-El moviment de translaci\u00f3 de la Terra.<\/span><\/p>\n

-Les estacions de l\u2019any.<\/span><\/p>\n

-El dia i la nit.<\/span><\/p>\n

A classe utilitzem material divers i especialment visual i manipulatiu que ens ajuda a comprendre millor tots aquests conceptes: p\u00f2sters, targetes visuals, jocs a la Pissarra Digital, bingos, memoris\u2026a m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, les feines que realitzem tenen a veure material fungible, com per exemple, vam realitzar una maqueta per entendre els dos moviments de la Terra al voltant del sol.<\/span><\/p>\n

El producte final d’aquesta unitat van ser uns v\u00eddeos informatius sobre els planetes, ja que ens vam convertir en presentadors de televisi\u00f3 per un dia. Ho van fer genial!! Vam treballar en equip i posteriorment vam reflexionar sobre aquest.<\/p>\n

Durant les classes d\u2019AICLE, tenim en compte alguns aspectes importants per ajudar l\u2019alumnat a entendre els aprenentatges: utilitzar instruccions clares, establir rutines durant les lli\u00e7ons, donar sempre exemples i models abans de comen\u00e7ar qualsevol tasca acompanyat de les instruccions verbals i comprovar la comprensi\u00f3 correcta de l\u2019activitat.<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u2019aqu\u00ed poc comen\u00e7arem nou tema, tenim moltes ganes!<\/span><\/p>\n

PLANETS INFORMATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

MERCURY: Mercury is very hot during the day and very cold at night.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

VENUS: Venus is covered in lava rocks from volcanos.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

EARTH: Earth has water so plants, animals and people can survive.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

MARS: Mars looks red because there is a lot of iron in the rocks.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

JUPITER: Jupiter is so big all the other planets could fit inside it.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

SATURN: Saturn’s rings are made up of billions of bits of icy rocks.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

URANUS: Uranus has rings, but they are hard to see. It spins on it’s side.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

NEPTUNE: Neptune is made of gas. Jupiter and Saturn are also made of gas.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
