{"id":20141,"date":"2024-02-13T11:00:46","date_gmt":"2024-02-13T10:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/ceipelspins\/?p=20141"},"modified":"2024-02-13T20:28:54","modified_gmt":"2024-02-13T19:28:54","slug":"5th-grade-strawberry-dna-extraction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agora.xtec.cat\/ceipelspins\/general\/5th-grade-strawberry-dna-extraction\/","title":{"rendered":"5th GRADE: STRAWBERRY DNA EXTRACTION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Al llarg d&#8217;aquest \u00faltim mes, hem estat aprenent dins de l&#8217;\u00e0rea de medi natural l&#8217;interessant tema de <strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">LA C\u00c8L\u00b7LULA. <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hem apr\u00e9s quina \u00e9s la seva definici\u00f3 i funci\u00f3, la difer\u00e8ncia entre c\u00e8l\u00b7lula animal i vegetal i tamb\u00e9 les seves parts. Una de les parts m\u00e9s importants \u00e9s el <b>nucli, <\/b>el qual\u00a0cont\u00e9 l&#8217;<strong>ADN<\/strong> que \u00e9s on es troba la informaci\u00f3 necess\u00e0ria per al funcionament i la reproducci\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Amb tota aquesta informaci\u00f3, hem anat al laboratori de l&#8217;escola i la mestra ens ha proposat reflexionar sobre aquestes dues preguntes: <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><em>&#8220;La fruita t\u00e9 ADN?&#8221; o &#8220;Com saben les maduixes que han de ser maduixes?&#8221;.<\/em><\/span> A partir d&#8217;aqu\u00ed, vam pensar les nostres hip\u00f2tesis i vam descobrir que \u00e9s gr\u00e0cies <strong>a l&#8217;ADN,<\/strong> una mol\u00e8cula fascinant que t\u00e9 totes les instruccions per a que els \u00e9ssers vius siguem com som! \u00c9s tan petita que tan sols es pot veure amb microscopi, per\u00f2 avui el repte ha estat que el puguem veure amb els nostres ulls.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e0cies a aquesta activitat, hem tingut la possibilitat d\u2019experimentar una<strong> t\u00e8cnica extractiva per obtenir l&#8217;ADN <\/strong>d\u2019exemplars vegetals. Hem generat un barreja per crear un l\u00edquid extractor i el resultat que hem \u00e9s una conglomeraci\u00f3 de cadenes de ADN visibles a l\u2019ull hum\u00e0.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>During this last month, we learned about the natural media area and the interesting topic of <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>THE CELL.<\/strong><\/span> We have learned about its function, the difference between animal and plant cells and also its parts. One of the most important parts is the nucleus, which contains the DNA that is used to provide the information necessary for cellular functioning and reproduction.<\/p>\n<p>With all this information, we went to the school laboratory and the teacher proposed to reflect on these two questions: <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><em>&#8220;Does the fruit have DNA?&#8221; or &#8220;How do strawberries know that they have to be strawberries?&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>Thanks to this activity, we had possibility of experimenting with an extractive technique to obtain the DNA of plant examples. We generated a container to create an extracting liquid and the result was a conglomeration of DNA chains visible to the human being.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s really nice to be able to experience and observe the process!
