ST PATRICK&#8217;S DAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, Friday 17th of March, we celebrated St Patrick&#8217;s Day in English, as it is an Irish holiday. We explained the origin of the festivity in class, we learned typical vocabulary, we watched videos and sang songs, we played games on the digital board and in addition, we made a Leprechaun finger puppet (he comes from the Irish forests) and a multi-activity booklet: with vocabulary, word searches, mazes, mandalas&#8230; and where we finally express our gratitude.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of these activities is to bring our students closer to Anglo-Saxon culture, especially from English-speaking countries around the world. We had a great time!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below we share with you a sample of the activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Traducci\u00f3 al Catal\u00e0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avui divendres 17 de mar\u00e7 hem celebrat St Patrick\u2019s Day des de l\u2019\u00e0rea de llengua anglesa al ser una festivitat irlandesa. Hem explicat l\u2019origen de la festivitat a classe, hem apr\u00e8s vocabulari t\u00edpic de la festivitat, hem vist v\u00eddeos i cantat can\u00e7ons, hem jugat a jocs a la pissarra digital i a m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, hem realitzat una titella de dit de Leprechaun (un follet dels boscos irlandesos) i un llibret multiactivitats: amb vocabulari, sopes de lletres, laberints, mandales\u2026i on finalment hem agra\u00eft per qu\u00e8 ens sentim afortunats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019objectiu d\u2019aquestes activitats \u00e9s apropar al nostre alumnat a la cultura anglosaxona, especialment als pa\u00efsos de parla anglesa d\u2019arreu del m\u00f3n.
