VOCABULARY LAPBOOKS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our <strong>year 5 students<\/strong> have become real experts in the elaboration of <strong>lapbooks<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>A lapbook can be described as &#8220;<em>a file folder that contains a variety of &#8220;mini books,&#8221; foldable, and other materials that cover detailed information about the lapbook&#8217;s central topic<\/em>&#8220;. At the very beginning of the second term, our students started creating lapbooks as a way of <strong>interiorising the vocabulary<\/strong> of each unit from a more <strong>visual, creative and engaging way<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Now that we are about to finish this course, we can <strong>verify the benefits of this teaching-learning practice<\/strong> since students <strong>meaningfully acquire<\/strong> the <strong>target vocabulary<\/strong> while they strengthen their <strong>artistic abilities. <\/strong>Moreover, they have progressively <strong>gained autonomy<\/strong> and <strong>independence<\/strong> in the <strong>learning process<\/strong> which <strong>positively contributes<\/strong> to a <strong>proper achievement<\/strong> of the English subject.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don&#8217;t forget to click on the pictures to see our students hands-on!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Els <strong>alumnes de 5\u00e8<\/strong> s&#8217;han convertit en uns veritables experts en la <strong>creaci\u00f3 de lapbooks<\/strong>. Un lapbook \u00e9s una <strong>t\u00e8cnica d&#8217;ensenyament-aprenentatge<\/strong> on l&#8217;alumnat recull en un full\/cartolina, normalment doblegada i amb subapartats en el seu interior,\u00a0 informaci\u00f3 rellevant sobre el tema que s&#8217;est\u00e0 treballant d&#8217;una forma visualment atractiva. A l&#8217;inici del segon trimestre, els nens i nenes de cinqu\u00e8 van comen\u00e7ar a elaborar lapbooks com a <strong>m\u00e8tode d&#8217;interioritzaci\u00f3 del vocabulari<\/strong> que es treballa a cada unitat d&#8217;una <strong>manera visual, creativa i motivadora.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ara que s&#8217;apropa el final de curs, podem<strong> constatar\u00a0els beneficis d&#8217;aquesta pr\u00e0ctica educativa<\/strong> ja que els alumnes mostren una assimilaci\u00f3 molt significativa del vocabulari, alhora que <strong>potencien les seves habilitats art\u00edstiques<\/strong>.
