Our year 5 students<\/strong> have become real experts in the elaboration of lapbooks<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

A lapbook can be described as “a file folder that contains a variety of “mini books,” foldable, and other materials that cover detailed information about the lapbook’s central topic<\/em>“. At the very beginning of the second term, our students started creating lapbooks as a way of interiorising the vocabulary<\/strong> of each unit from a more visual, creative and engaging way<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now that we are about to finish this course, we can verify the benefits of this teaching-learning practice<\/strong> since students meaningfully acquire<\/strong> the target vocabulary<\/strong> while they strengthen their artistic abilities. <\/strong>Moreover, they have progressively gained autonomy<\/strong> and independence<\/strong> in the learning process<\/strong> which positively contributes<\/strong> to a proper achievement<\/strong> of the English subject.<\/p>\n

Els alumnes de 5\u00e8<\/strong> s’han convertit en uns veritables experts en la creaci\u00f3 de lapbooks<\/strong>. Un lapbook \u00e9s una t\u00e8cnica d’ensenyament-aprenentatge<\/strong> on l’alumnat recull en un full\/cartolina, normalment doblegada i amb subapartats en el seu interior,\u00a0 informaci\u00f3 rellevant sobre el tema que s’est\u00e0 treballant d’una forma visualment atractiva. A l’inici del segon trimestre, els nens i nenes de cinqu\u00e8 van comen\u00e7ar a elaborar lapbooks com a m\u00e8tode d’interioritzaci\u00f3 del vocabulari<\/strong> que es treballa a cada unitat d’una manera visual, creativa i motivadora.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ara que s’apropa el final de curs, podem constatar\u00a0els beneficis d’aquesta pr\u00e0ctica educativa<\/strong> ja que els alumnes mostren una assimilaci\u00f3 molt significativa del vocabulari, alhora que potencien les seves habilitats art\u00edstiques<\/strong>. A m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, mica en mica han anat guanyant autonomia i independ\u00e8ncia<\/strong> en el seu proc\u00e9s d’aprenentatge<\/strong>, fet que contribueix a un aprofitament realment positiu<\/strong> de les classes d’angl\u00e8s.<\/p>\n
