Theatre is an activity that fits perfectly into the school curriculum as it promotes, among other things, oral and corporal expression, artistic creation, social skills, teamwork, and self-esteem to face an audience. During this time we have learned to work together to improve our pronunciation, acquire new vocabulary, and above all to enjoy English.<\/p>\n

The third year students presented the play Step Up. The play tells the story of a group of Hip Hopers who are looking for a new member. It focuses on an interview where different contestants show their talents dancing salsa, paso doble, break dance, and Hip Hop. After finding a new member, they decide to go shopping where they are assisted by a very polite shopkeeper. Then, they get very hungry and decide to go to eat at a restaurant where a member of the band warmly invites the group.<\/p>\n

Finally, the band participates in the contest and ……….<\/p>\n

It has been a very enriching project where we wanted to show the value of friendship, respect, empathy and teamwork.<\/p>\n
