Aquesta prova es basar\u00e0 en les compet\u00e8ncies b\u00e0siques ling\u00fc\u00edstiques, matem\u00e0tiques i de l&#8217;\u00e0rea de coneixement del medi natural que cal haver assolit en acabar aquesta etapa educativa. El resultat de la prova no tindr\u00e0 efecte ni en l&#8217;avaluaci\u00f3 final de l&#8217;alumnat ni en la decisi\u00f3 de passar a l&#8217;ESO.<\/p>\n<p>Amb aquesta prova, el Departament i cada centre d&#8217;educaci\u00f3 prim\u00e0ria podr\u00e0 disposar d&#8217;informaci\u00f3 acurada sobre la marxa de tot l&#8217;alumnat en un moment clau de la seva escolaritat segons un instrument de mesura homogeni. La prova ha de servir, tamb\u00e9, perqu\u00e8 cada centre pugui corregir els punts febles i potenciar els punts forts a partir de la major autonomia que permet la Llei d&#8217;educaci\u00f3 de Catalunya. L&#8217;objectiu final \u00e9s millorar els resultats de l&#8217;alumnat i afavorir el seu pas a l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 secund\u00e0ria.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta \u00e9s una actuaci\u00f3 en el camp de l&#8217;avaluaci\u00f3 educativa que fa clarament un pas endavant en l&#8217;avaluaci\u00f3 dels resultats de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 en una etapa educativa fonamental per a l&#8217;itinerari formatiu de l&#8217;alumnat i que ha d&#8217;esdevenir una eina \u00fatil per a l&#8217;avaluaci\u00f3 formativa dels centres i del conjunt del sistema educatiu.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;avaluaci\u00f3 de sis\u00e8 d&#8217;educaci\u00f3 prim\u00e0ria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c9s una avaluaci\u00f3 externa de car\u00e0cter formatiu i orientador.<\/li>\n<li>Mesura el grau d&#8217;assoliment de compet\u00e8ncies b\u00e0siques en acabar l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 prim\u00e0ria.<\/li>\n<li>Facilita informaci\u00f3 als centres dels punts forts i febles en l&#8217;adquisici\u00f3 de les compet\u00e8ncies b\u00e0siques de l&#8217;alumnat.<\/li>\n<li>Constitueix un instrument per a la millora dels resultats de l&#8217;alumnat.<\/li>\n<li>Afavoreix la transici\u00f3 de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 prim\u00e0ria a l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 secund\u00e0ria obligat\u00f2ria.<\/li>\n<li>Permet disposar d&#8217;informaci\u00f3 sobre el sistema educatiu
