\u00a0On Wednesday 29th April, Year 4 pupils started a new English project called It’s Your Turn!<\/em>. It consists of four learning stations designed to practise the four basic English language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing.<\/p>\n

A core aim of our project is to enhance children’s autonomy and self-esteem. Students work independently most of the time, while teachers observe and step in only when needed.The exception is the Games Station, where one of the teachers guides the activity and helps students understand the rules.<\/p>\n

During these lessons, the classroom is divided into four learning stations, each lasting 11 minutes. There are only two or three children at each station, where they put into practice what they have learned so far. Once the time is up, the children move to the next station.<\/p>\n

The different stations are the Writing Station, Reading Station, Grammar Station and Games Station.<\/p>\n

El dimecres 29 d\u2019abril, els alumnes de 4t de prim\u00e0ria van comen\u00e7ar un nou projecte d\u2019angl\u00e8s anomenat It\u2019s Your Turn!. Aquest projecte consisteix en quatre estacions d\u2019aprenentatge dissenyades per practicar les quatre habilitats ling\u00fc\u00edstiques b\u00e0siques de l\u2019angl\u00e8s: comprensi\u00f3 oral, comprensi\u00f3 lectora, expressi\u00f3 oral i expressi\u00f3 escrita.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Un objectiu fonamental del nostre projecte \u00e9s potenciar l\u2019autonomia i l\u2019autoestima dels infants. Els alumnes treballen de manera independent la major part del temps, mentre que els mestres observen i intervenen nom\u00e9s quan \u00e9s necessari. L’excepci\u00f3 \u00e9s l’estaci\u00f3 dels jocs, a on una de les mestres acompanya i ajuda els alumnes a entendre les normes del joc.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Durant aquestes classes, l\u2019aula es divideix en quatre estacions d\u2019aprenentatge, cadascuna de les quals dura 11 minuts. Hi ha nom\u00e9s dos o tres nens a cada estaci\u00f3, on posen en pr\u00e0ctica el que han apr\u00e8s fins ara. Un cop s\u2019exhaureix el temps, els infants passen a l\u2019estaci\u00f3 seg\u00fcent.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n
