After the Christmas holidays, we talked about our resolutions for the New Year. Here you are what students from CS said. Some of their resolutions are more dreams or wishes than resolutions. Next December we will have a look at what they said and see if their resolutions have come true. What are you New Year’s resolutions?

Després de les vacances de Nadal vam parlar sobre els propòsits pel nou any. Aquí teniu el que els alumnes de CS van dir. Alguns dels seus propòsits són més somnis o desitjos que no pas intencions. El proper desembre recuperarem aquest llistat per veure si han complert amb els seus propòsits. Quins són els vostres propòsits per aquest 2021?

Board&card games CS

Are you a board game lover? We really enjoy playing them. Games are a very useful tool to learn and review English. Once we finish a unit, we organise different corners with activities related to the contents we have been seeing. In groups or pairs, we play the game and every few minutes they change to another activity. I dare to say it is the students’ favourite day 😁

Us agraden els jocs de taula? A nosaltres sí! Els jocs són un fantàstic recurs per aprendre i repassar anglès. Quan acabem la unitat, organitzem diferents racons amb activitats relacionades amb el que hem estat treballant. En grups o parelles juguem en un dels racons i al cap d’una estona canviem de racó. M’atreveixo a dir que és una de les activitats que més els hi agrada 😁 Tenir aquests grups reduïts és un privilegi i ho valorem molt!

How to invite a friend to a concert

Pupils from CS love doing role plays! In every unit they’re given the chance to watch a video of a real situation, then they read the video script and finally they complete the dialogue in their own words. In unit 1 the dialogue was about inviting a friend to a concert. We decided to record it. They didn’t have much time to prepare it so they improvised. They must be proud of themselves. WAY TO GO 👏

Els alumnes de CS són uns grans actors! A cada unitat hi ha una activitat que els permet simular una situació de la vida real. Primer veuen un vídeo, després llegeixen el diàleg i finalment, el modifiquen amb les seves paraules. En aquesta primera unitat havien de convidar a un amic a un concert. Vam decidir enregistrar-ho i seleccionar les millors parts. No van tenir massa temps per preparar-ho així que van improvisar. Poden estar orgullosos d’ells mateixos. BONA FEINA 👏
