Sense faltar-li galanteria, la va convidar a anar a Roma, per\u00f2 ella no ho va acceptar. Ell, cegament enamorat, va renunciar al seu pa\u00eds per quedar-se aqu\u00ed, al costat de la formosa pubilla que l\u2019havia captivat. De l\u2019amor d\u2019ambd\u00f3s personatges nasqu\u00e9 Montmel\u00f3.
