Children in Year 5 finished their stained glass candle holders in the style of Gaud\u00ed this week. They have been learning about the Catalan architect during this term and they visited Park G\u00fcell and La Sagrada Fam\u00edlia. There, they could observe\u00a0lots of wonderful stained glass windows and\u00a0some\u00a0amazing mosaics. Back to school we learned about cool (blue, green and purple) and warm (red, yellowe and orange) colours and how Gaud\u00ed used them in La Sagrada Fam\u00edlia. Children chose warm or cool colours to paint glass yoghurt pots with glass paint. Finally, they decorated the top of the pots with glitter. The designs are very creative.<\/p>\n
