ENGLISH DAY IN MALLORCA SCHOOL<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 19th<\/sup> May<\/strong> we celebrated the English Day. On that day our students did different kinds of activities.<\/p>\n

In the Infants<\/strong>, the children played games in the playground in English. P3, P4 and P5 played games such as: Duck, duck, goose, in which they practised spoken vocabulary such as colours, animals and the weather. They also played a game called Freeze! In which they practised imperatives such as \u201cjump\u201d, \u201cdance\u201d, \u201crun\u201d as well as numbers.<\/p>\n

There were two groups in Primary<\/strong> school: A and B<\/p>\n

In the morning each class did the daily routines like every day they do with their tutors.<\/p>\n

Then Group A<\/strong> made a real English Pancake. First, the students watched a video with their teacher and then they ate together in the classroom. After, they did different writing activities about it. Finally, they drew their own pancake and the teacher chose various pictures for the exhibition.<\/p>\n

Group B<\/strong> started to do the English game Gymkhana .This took place in the school playground. The children rotated around the 14 different active learning games.<\/p>\n

The 6th<\/sup> level students were the monitors of every game. They always had to explain in English, of course!<\/p>\n
