On May 30 we celebrated \u201cEnglish Day\u201d, a day when the whole school does activities in English.<\/p>\n

We started by taking some photos of us dressing up with different outfits. It was time for the photocall. How we enjoyed it!<\/p>\n

The fourth-grade students saw a musical \u201cRobin, princess of the Hoods\u201d where they participated singing and dancing the songs that had been previously worked to raise awareness of the importance of not polluting water. They also made a dossier and a \u201cFortune Teller\u201d that dealt with the cities, countries and monuments that surrounded the play.<\/p>\n

In 5th and 6th grades we did a workshop on a song, also previously worked on, which consisted of singing and dancing it and then being able to present it to other students. In addition to this activity, they did other activities such as a dossier about the song (5th \u201cDon’t start now\u201d and 6th \u201cCan’t stop the feeling\u201d) as well as free reading in this language.<\/p>\n

As for the canteen menu, all the students who had lunch in the dining hall celebrated this day with pumpkin soup, fish and chips, and strawberry jelly. It was delicious!<\/p>\n

It was a great day that we lived with excitement and enthusiasm where English was the star.<\/p>\n

El 30 de maig vam celebrar l’\u00abEnglish Day\u00bb, un dia en el qual tota l’escola va realitzar activitats al voltant d’aquest idioma.<\/p>\n

Vam comen\u00e7ar fent un photocall.\u00a0 Com el vam gaudir!<\/p>\n

Durant aquest dia, els\/les alumnes de 4t van veure el musical \u00abRobin, princess of the Hoods\u00bb on van participar cantant i ballant les can\u00e7ons que\u00a0 pr\u00e8viament s’havien treballat per conscienciar-nos sobre la import\u00e0ncia de no contaminar l’aigua. Tamb\u00e9 van realitzar un dossier sobre el musical i un “Fortune Teller” (“comecocos”)\u00a0 que versava sobre les ciutats, pa\u00efsos i monuments que sortien a l’obra.<\/p>\n

A 5\u00e8 i 6\u00e8 van fer un taller sobre una can\u00e7\u00f3 que s’havien apr\u00e8s setmanes abans, i que va consistir en cantar-la al mateix temps que la ballaven\u00a0 seguint una coreografia per despr\u00e9s ensenyar-la a altres alumnes. A m\u00e9s d’aquesta activitat, van realitzar altres com un dossier sobre la can\u00e7\u00f3 (5\u00e8 \u00abDon’t start now\u00bb i 6\u00e8 \u00abCan’t stop the feeling\u00bb) aix\u00ed com la lectura lliure de llibres en angl\u00e8s.<\/p>\n

Pel que fa al men\u00fa del menjador, van dinar sopa de carbassa, “fish and chips” i gelatina de maduixa. Menjars t\u00edpics d’aquesta cultura. Tot estava delici\u00f3s!<\/p>\n

Va ser un gran dia que vam viure amb il\u00b7lusi\u00f3 i entusiasme on l’angl\u00e8s era la llengua estrella.<\/p>\n
