La banda va ser fundada a Chicago per Maurice White el 1969. Altres membres destacats d&#8217;EWF han estat Philip Bailey, Verdine White, Ralph Johnson, Larry Dunn, Al McKay, Roland Bautista, Robert Brookins, Sonny Emory, Fred Ravel, Ronnie Laws, Sheldon Reynolds y Andrew Woolfolk. La banda ha estat nominada 20 vegades pel Premi Grammy i en van guanyar sis com a grup.<\/p>\n<p>La can\u00e7\u00f3 <strong><em>September<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9s de l&#8217;\u00e0lbum <em>The Best of Earth, Wind &amp; Fire, Vol. I,<\/em> i va \u00e9sser presentada com a senzill l&#8217;any 1978. Porta el nom del mes que ens acompanya i l&#8217;han escollit dues persones del claustre de l&#8217;escola que ens diuen aix\u00f2:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;Es un cl\u00e0ssic del Disco dels 80, i amb la lletra i el seu bon rotllo, acompanya molt b\u00e9 per l&#8217;entrada de curs!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">&#8220;Em transmet molt bon rotllo per comen\u00e7ar el dia, mola tenir varietat musical i parla del setembre&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sabeu qui podria estar darrera
