La paraula equinocci ve del <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">llat\u00ed<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> i significa &#8220;nit igual&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Hi ha dos equinoccis a l&#8217;any,<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">L&#8217;equinocci de primavera o equinocci vernal es produeix al voltant del <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">21 de mar\u00e7<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> quan el Sol creua l&#8217;equador celeste, passant de l&#8217;hemisferi sud al nord. La <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">declinaci\u00f3<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> solar \u00e9s zero passant de negativa a positiva. A l&#8217;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">hemisferi nord<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> marca l&#8217;inici de la <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">primavera<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">L&#8217;equinocci de tardor es produeix al voltant del <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">23 de setembre<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> quan el Sol creua l&#8217;equador celeste passant de l&#8217;hemisferi nord al sud.  La declinaci\u00f3 solar \u00e9s zero passant de positiva a negativa.
