Last Tuesday 15th November, some students from 4th of ESO went to visit the photography exhibition “Ava a Tossa, de quan el glamour arribà a la Costa Brava de la mà de Pandora” in Casa de Cultura of Tossa de Mar.
We really enjoyed it. We could see a lot of pictures in black and white from the time when Ava Gardner, this famous American actress, was in Tossa. Besides, we could recognize the famous American singer and actor Frank Sinatra in some of the pictures. We learned that it’s the 65th anniversary of the filming of “Pandora and the Flying Dutchman”.
In addition, we had the chance to see another exhibition, on the first floor, “Costa Brava, Glam & Click” which was full of photos of celebrities who came to Costa Brava such as Leo Messi, Dalí, Walt Disney, Lady Di, Sting, Kirk Douglas, Alejandro Sanz, Sean Connery, etc.
