On Friday 3rd June our High School celebrated Toni & Maimo’s Memorial.
At 8:30 Núria Ribes explained all the students that INS Joan Amigó participates in the 2017 Mediterranean Games. Then two ping-pong experts explained some norms to play table tennis and made an exhibition.
Later we played some traditional games, we had some football competitions, badminton competitions, football-tennis competitions and baseball competitions.
All the competitions were organized by our PE teacher, Meritxell, and the 4th ESO students. The 3rd ESO students prepared breakfast for all the teachers, students and a group of students from Montblanc who participated in the competition.
After the competitions, the students of 1st ESO showed us some acro-sport performances.
Finally, Maite, our head teacher, Meritxell, our PE teacher and Enric, our former PE teacher, gave the prizes to all the participants and the winners. The sport activities were in honour of our former PE teacher, Toni Blanch.
To finish with the Memorial, Maite, Meritxell and Lia gave the prizes of the Photography competition about clouds, in honour to our former Science teacher Eduard Maimoné.
It was a fantastic day of sports and activities. Thanks to our PE teacher and to the 4th ESO students for the good organization. We had a very good time together.
We hope next year we can organize this Memorial too.
