On 19th May 2017 the student of Ins Els Planells Teresa Velasco attended The Fonix 2017 awards ceremony at which she was given the 5th prize in her category. She was accompanied by her parents and Ramona Solé, the High-school headmistress.
The Fonix is an English Competition for Catalan Schools designed to promote the use of English among students. Its objective is to select the most competent students in English of all the schools in Catalonia.
Teresa was first finalist at the local stage at Ins Els Planells, then at the territorial stage in Lleida and she finally won the 5th prize at the final stage in Barcelona where she competed with students from all over Catalonia.
We congratulate her for her achievement and we encourage her to keep on working hard to reach her objectives.
