Once again the 2nd ESO students have recited poetry out loud. A great experience which has helped them in many aspects.
Which are the benefits of reciting poetry out loud?
-It helps students to learn new vocabulary words.
-As they practice memorizing the poetry to recite, it links memory with audio and visual events, helping them develop memorization skills.
-They learn and understand pitch, voice inflection, and volume.
-Students who recite poetry are aware of breathe coordination, movements of the mouth and other physical gestures as they align these to the rhythm in the poetry.
